Ice Breaker

For those who know me and for those who don’t, it is an amazing chance to know me. Bonjour All, And then the day came, thunder in the clouds, lightening in the sky, drums rolling , crackers burning.
If anyone is at all assuming that something like this happened on the day I was born, then you got it totally wrong, I was born on just another day of burning summer heat, in the plains of punjab. The only good thing that I could recall was my grandmother telling my father, “Its celebration time, we have laxmi in the house” Maybe she was right, the future of my family blossomed after I was born.
Now if I talk about my childhood days, they went dull, sleepy and bland. I used to more absent in school than to be present because sleeping was my passion and dreaming was my life. I was in the list of backbenchers and used to top the class from the back. But as soon as I reached my 7th standard, something changed, maybe some planets exchanged their positions or maybe some magic happened, I began to lead the class from the front. And all this was only until my 10th grade, after which I took science as my major. If any one of you have heard my previous speeches, I was one of those girls who wanted to make some changes to the world, who wanted to understand the problems of the world, but call it fate I was now sitting in the chemistry lab understanding the chemical reaction between carbon and hydrogen. At that time I didn’t know that those invisible molecules had the power to decide my fate ahead, and thankful to them I landed up in an below average college near my city, about which my sister’s friend used to say,  ”I would rather prefer to wash utensils in the house than to take admission in the same” but still got admission in same. I was devastated and hopeful at the same time, because the gloomy days passed and days of glory were yet to arrive. While in college, I decided to enjoy my life to the fullest because at that time I knew these days are precious and can never be revisited. I pursued my passion of dancing along with my studies and learnt as many art forms as I could.
I was part of my college’s official dance team , and I can proudly say I was living my life , until I realized that my grades were suffering and that can become a cornerstone in my placements. So in my 3rd I decided to become sincere towards my studies, and focus on what it requires to be placed in a good company.
And then In my 4th year I got placed and I joined unisys as an associate engineer in 2016. It was whole together a new beginning, away from my family and friends and also from the comfort of home. But it was a learning to be independent and be self sufficient.
Its been 4 years now and I can proudly say, it  feels amazing to be in the city, I have made amazing friends and got one of the amazing family to be a part of , my blogger  family.
